It might be a scenario rooted in fiction, but sometimes there\u2019s nothing better than meeting up with your friends for a bit of girl talk over a few cocktails and a light lunch.<\/p>\n<p>And it seems as though you ladies agree!<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ve had an overwhelming response to many of the <strong>W<\/strong><b>omen Only<\/b>\u00a0events on our network, which may have something to do with the warm weather and the sunshine. More female members are joining MixingOut and signing up to lunchtime get-togethers and afternoon drinks, which is fantastic news for any of ladies out there who feel like joining in the fun!<\/p>\n<p>So with that in mind, we thought we\u2019d dedicate this week\u2019s post to our favourite things about meet-ups with the girls:<\/p>\n<p><b>Looking absolutely glam, no matter what the occasion.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-237\" style=\"font-size: 1rem; line-height: 1;\" alt=\"one\" src=\"http:\/\/mixingout.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/one-300x190.jpeg\" width=\"300\" height=\"190\" \/><\/p>\n<p><b>Being part of a very friendly, very fun group people.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-238\" style=\"font-size: 1rem; line-height: 1;\" alt=\"two\" src=\"http:\/\/mixingout.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/two-274x300.gif\" width=\"274\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p><b>Getting together with other ladies just like us!<\/b><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-239\" style=\"font-size: 1rem; line-height: 1;\" alt=\"three\" src=\"http:\/\/mixingout.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/three-300x224.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"224\" \/><\/p>\n<p><i>Here&#8217;s what one of our ladies had to say:<\/i><\/p>\n<p><i>\u201c<\/i><i>I\u2019d been a member at MixingOut for a short while, but felt very wary about signing up to an event. I\u2019m not normally nervous about meeting other people, I love making new friends, but I wanted to feel super comfortable during my first meet up. A lot of the events were either at night (which I wasn\u2019t particularly feeling) or with mixed groups of men and women, and I knew I\u2019d feel more at home with a group of other girls. A lunchtime get together over drinks sounded right up my street! Everybody was really friendly, really welcoming, and helped me settle into the swing of things.
