Yesterday, in fact. And the results are pouring in as I\u2019m writing this post.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">But who did your friends vote for? Does it really matter, and should you even care? Well, if you\u2019re friends are anything like ours, \u2018shaming\u2019 you into voting with motivational Facebook updates (yawn), then we think it\u2019s very important!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">So in the interest of cutting certain friends out of your social circle and forming new alliances with people you never imagined shared similar views, we\u2019ve put together a few points to consider.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"p5\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>You\u2019re out for a few drinks. Your friend orders\u2026<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>a. A pint of bitter the colour of the treacle, with a head of cream like a Walls 99.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><b>b. A bottle of something imported. The label looks more pricey than the one inside your shirt.<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>c. Larger. Simples.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>d. Cosmopolitan.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"p5\"><\/h2>\n<h2 class=\"p5\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Your friend does the weekly shop at\u2026<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>a. Farmers markets, for everything, including clothes.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>b. Marks and Spencer. <\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>c. Used to be Tesco, now Lidl.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>d. All of the above<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"p5\"><\/h2>\n<h2 class=\"p5\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>You decide to watch a film. You\u2019re friend suggests\u2026<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>a. James Bond, of course!<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>b. Bond. All the way.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>c. Bond.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>d. Something with little dialogue, scores of orchestral music and sweeping shots of flowery scenery.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"p5\"><\/h2>\n<h2 class=\"p5\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>You take a peak at your friend\u2019s phone, the wall paper is\u2026<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>a. James Bond, of course!<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>b. Just the colour grey.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>c. FHM cover girl.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>d. A picture of their pet.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Results: UKIP, mainly a\u2019s. Conservative, mainly b\u2019s. Labour, mainly c\u2019s.
